DESCRIPTION : An accurate Bravo Delta scale model of the Avro Vulcan B2 XH588 G-VLCN, now owned by C. Walton Ltd. Presently at Brunting Thorpe Airfield British Aviation Heritage, Worcestershire. Vulcans first flew in 1952. This aircraft is presently being restored to flight status after gaining a heritage lottery fund award. Scale model of XH588 appeared in the 1965 James Bond film Thunderball. Measures 16 inches in length, 17 inches in width and 4 inches in height. Comes complete with presentation stand. The model is hand crafted from kiln dried mahogany, and accurately hand painted using over 35 coats of lacquer. A Bravo Delta model is a true collectors piece.
