DESCRIPTION : A Bravo Delta replica of Willi Reschkes legendary White Six Focke Wulf 190A8 the machine in which he achieved many of his victories. In total, Willi flew about 70 missions and achieved 27 victories, of which some 25 were over the more demanding Western Front. During the war, he was shot down eight times. he bailed out on four occasions and was wounded once. He was an excellent pilot, and more particularly a fearless one. We feel very honoured that Willi recently signed a limited number of this piece. It stands as a terrific tribute to one of the last wars most successful fighter aircraft and, of course, to one of its most renowned pilots. This Bravo Delta replica is hand crafted from kiln dried mahogany, and accurately hand painted using up to 35 coats of lacquer. This model measures 33cm in length and has a wingspan of 41cm. |
