DESCRIPTION : A fabulous Bravo Delta scale model of the F4U-1A Corsair Of VF-5B. The aircraft was flown by LT JG Ira C. Kepford, United States Navy. The aircraft displays his 16 victories. With a max speed of 320 mph, the British had to teach the US how to land the Corsair on aircraft carriers. Measures 13 inches in length, 17 inches in width and 4 inches in height. Comes complete with presentation stand. The model is hand crafted from kiln dried mahogany, and accurately hand painted using over 35 coats of lacquer. A Bravo Delta model is a true collectors piece.
