DESCRIPTION : Michael Wittmanns Tiger I tank limited edition collectors box set. Forces of Valour have really gone out on a limb to recreate this piece. This 116th scale replica of a German Tiger I tank has been designed in honour of one of the best and most successful tank commanders of World War II. This collectors box set, which is limited to only 2000 copies, is designed and inspired by one famous photograph from the summer of 1944. Wittmann and his crew took photos of themselves on their famous tank, which were to become their last pictures before their final battle. Using these famous images, Forces of Valour have put together this box set to recreate that very moment, capturing Michael Wittmann and his four tank crew members as they each took a pose for the photograph. Also included are two full colour brochures that detail the history of the Tiger I tank during World War II and tell the story of Michael Wittmann, including his last battle at Cintheaux, France 1944. As the piest deresistance, Forces of Valour have included a high detail replica of the tanks engine which comes in its own display box. |
