Simply tear open one heater sleeve at the top arrow, insert an unopened meal pouch, add 40ml of water. Follow three further simple instructions explained clearly on the pack and around 12 minutes later the meal is ready to eat. The heaters have been specialy designed to heat a 300g (10.6oz.) retort pouched meal (IMPs/MREs) to 800°c (1780°f) in 12 minutes without matches, fire, stove or electricity. The heaters are replacing hexamine and trioxane solid fuel tablets in todays military and emergency survival use.
