DESCRIPTION : Fluorochemical spray for all breathable clothing. Synthetic clothing had been in use in the outdoor trade for over 20 years and was successfully waterproofed using Granger's Nylopruf and latterly Fabsil Gold spray. The silicone product was highly regarded but was not suitable for the more modern breathable fabrics. Fabsil Gold used a high quality silicone repellency system which is not compatible with the Gore-Tex® system but could be used on certain non-membrane systems. As Gore-Tex fabric quickly established itself as the brand leader the development of a compatible product was embarked on.
